DESCRIPTION:THIS IS A DUAL ENROLLMENT CE ELECTIVE FOR GENERAL CONTRACTORS & REALTORS \n\n\n\n\n\nOn February 12th the Wilmington-Cape Fear HBA will be offering an In Person CE course option that will cover the 4-hour elective requirement that licensed general contractors are required to complete under G.S. 87-10.2\n\n\n\nThis course is designed to showcase the many similarities between Land Use and construction and why it matters to really pay attention to both when constructing a new structure.  Many contractors start a new build with the tried and true requirements of the North Carolina Building Code.  In this course\, we take a different approach and study the mechanics of zoning first to make sure your project gets off to a good start.  Upon completion of this course\, students will have a better understanding of a Zoning Ordinance specifically the dimensional requirements as well as the overall mechanics of a zoning ordinance and how it relates to the construction of a structure.
